Situated on the fashionable World Heritage site of Andrássy Avenue, Hotel Moments Budapest is a newly opened boutique style hotel in the heart of the Pest side of Budapest.
Based two minutes walk from a metro station, it is very easy to get around Budapest. It is also possible to walk to many places from the hotel, including the river which is around a 7 minute walk away.
As the doorman welcomes you inside the elegant foyer, your senses are stimulated by the pleasant scent in the air and the magnificent artwork in the ceiling above your head.
The reception area is light and spacious with comfortable chairs and a piano. There is an alcove with sofas and armchairs, where free newspapers and a selection of free hot and cold drinks are available. While checking in, the hotel’s front of house employees will give you a sense that you are a long lost friend and not just a guest staying at a non-descript hotel. In fact all members of staff that I met made me feel very welcome here.
On entering your room, you can’t help but notice how clean and tastefully decorated the furnishings are, and how bright and airy the space is.
The bed is a good size for two people and is very comfortable, leading to a good nights sleep. I only booked the basic double room this time, but would love to try out some of the other rooms on a return trip. Yes, I will be returning!
The room is also very quiet, which means a lot to me, as I am a very light sleeper. I had made the hotel aware of this before my arrival, so they had reserved a room for me at the end of a quiet corridor and away from the elevators. It is things like this that show me as a customer that the hotel cares about its visitors.
There are many toiletries waiting for you in the bathroom such as bottles of shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, soap, and other little useful kits. These all smell great! The powerful shower is very refreshing after a long day of sightseeing.
In the morning, feast on a delicious breakfast buffet, which has something for everyone from children to vegans. It is hard to think of anything that was missing from the breakfast, and it certainly filled me up enough to keep me going until lunch time. You can also enjoy dinner at the hotel if you don't feel like going out.
You won't be disappointed in choosing this hotel for your stay in Budapest!
